The Cascada being introduced by Opel, a Buick brand, in early 2013 might be coming to the US market?. Well not quite but the hope here is they bring this sleek new coupe to the United States market. There is no word on that though as it seems Buick is going to test this model in Europe before any talk of it possibly remaking the Cascada into a Buick model.

This new convertibles top opens in 17 seconds so you can soak up the sunshine. That is the fastest feature of the car, It’s no speedster and will only have a basic 4 cylinder engine. The different engine options will provide the basic fun people are looking for on the road and make this a great new car to the Opel line up. So whens it coming to the US?

“[CEO] Dan Akerson was so thrilled about the Cascada that he asked: ‘Why don’t we bring it to the U.S,’” was how one insider summed up the reaction about the new Opel to Autoweek, an affiliate of Automotive News.

So I guess now we wait….. although I don’t know why.

What we you waiting for? Bring the Cascada to the United States!
